Treatment:
Treatment of heartwater, tick-borne gall sickness (anaplasmosis), pneumonia, footrot, joint-ill,
navel-ill in stock and strangles in horses.
Dosage:
Treatment must be repeated daily at the prescribed dosage until full recovery has taken place.
For cattle and horses administer per 100kg. For sheep, goats, and pigs, administer per 50kg
In very severe infections, it is desirable to double the first dose. For rapid recovery, a prompt and
accurate diagnosis must be made. Consult your veterinarian.
When the intravenous route is used the injection should be given slowly into the selected vein and
at the first signs of discomfort or restlessness on the part of the animal it should be halted momentarily. A small gauge needle should preferably be used.
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Although this remedy has been
extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of
a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration
holder
Composition:
Oxytetracycline HCL 12.5% m/v
Packaging:
Store in a cool and dark place, below 25 °C. Some darkening of the solution may occur without
affecting potency.
