Introducing Swamycin LA: Effective Treatment for Oxytetracycline Susceptible Organisms

Dosage and Administration:

Swamycin LA provides a reliable solution for the treatment of various conditions caused by or associated with Oxytetracycline susceptible organisms. It is specifically designed for situations where prolonged antibiotic treatment is necessary, or frequent animal handling and repeat treatment are impractical. The recommended dosage is 1ml per 10kg body mass, administered through deep intramuscular injection. Please note that intravenous injection should be avoided. For optimal results, inject this vaccine on the side of the neck. In most cases, a single treatment is sufficient, but for more chronic instances such as pink eye in cattle, a second injection may be given after 72 hours. Temporary swelling at the injection site is a normal occurrence.

Benefits:

Swamycin LA offers a range of benefits for livestock. For cattle, it effectively treats tick-borne gall sickness (anaplasmosis), heartwater, pneumonia, footrot, joint-ill, and infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis (pink eye). In sheep and goats, it addresses heartwater, pneumonia, footrot, joint-ill, and navel-ill. Pigs can also benefit from this vaccine, as it tackles pneumonia, joint-ill, and naval-ill. With its proven efficacy, this treatment allows for improved animal health and well-being, minimizing the impact of these conditions on livestock productivity.

Safety Information:

While using Swamycin LA, it is essential to adhere to the recommended dosage and administration guidelines. Moreover, it is important to avoid injecting piglets with iron preparations on the same day. Additionally, animals treated with this vaccine should not be slaughtered for human consumption within 21 days following the treatment. Furthermore, milk from treated cows should not be used for human consumption within 7 days of the last treatment. As with any medication, it is vital to keep this product out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. In case of suspected treatment failure, it is advisable to seek veterinary advice and promptly notify the registration holder. Despite extensive testing, it is crucial to acknowledge that individual cases may vary, making professional guidance indispensable.
