Follow the recommended dosage guidelines carefully. For cattle, sheep, and goats, inject 1.5ml per 10kg of body weight again every 72 hours. By the same token, pigs require the same dosage for foot rot and pneumonia. Ensure intramuscular injection only, using the appropriate needle size and injecting into the neck muscles. If the total volume exceeds 10ml, divide the dose and inject it into both sides of the neck.

    Treatment

    Treatment of heartwater, tick-borne gall sickness (anaplasmosis), pneumonia, footrot, joint-ill, navel-ill and joint-ill in cattle, sheep and goats and pneumonia and footrot in pigs.
    Dosage

    Use only as directed.

    Cattle:
    – Heartwater – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Anaplasmosis – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Footrot – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Pneumonia – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Navel-ill – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Joint-ill- 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours

    Sheep & Goats:
    – Heartwater – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Footrot – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Pneumonia – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours

    Pigs:
    – Footrot – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours
    – Pneumonia – 1.5ml per 10kg – 72 hours

    Inject only intramuscularly. All long-acting Tetracycline solutions cause tissue reactions. In order to limit the effect of this reaction the following steps must be followed:
    – in cattle and mature pigs use a 17g x 60mm hypodermic needle;
    – for sheep and young pigs use 18g x 40mm hypodermic needle;
    – inject only into the neck muscles as illustrated;
    – if the total volume exceeds 10ml divide the dose and inject into both sides of the neck.
