Treatment:
For the long-acting control of parasites affecting cattle, including gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes. Ivomec® Gold is formulated to improve cattle health and productivity, addressing the impact of nematode infections on weight gain and production efficiency.
For the control of sucking lice, biting lice, mange mites, and sand tampans (up to 3 days post-treatment). Effective against screw-worms present at the time of injection and provides 2-week protection against screw-worm strike. Controls blue ticks for up to 75 days.
Dosage:
Use only as directed. Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly. Subcutaneous injection only.
1ml per 50kg body mass. Suitable for use in breeding animals.
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
Cattle may not be slaughtered for human consumption within 105 days of the last treatment. Do not use in lactating cattle if milk or milk products are for human consumption. Avoid use within 105 days before calving if milk is intended for human use.
Some cattle may experience temporary discomfort or soft-tissue swelling at the injection site, which resolves without intervention. Vaccination against Clostridium infections is recommended. Avoid smoking or eating while handling the product, and wash hands after use.
